Our Made to Measure Picture Frames

All of our picture frames can be used for standard pieces of art work, photographs etc. by using our frame builder to order the component parts e.g. the frame, mounts, glass. All frames are automatically supplied with an mdf backboard. When you order a complete frame we include sealing tape, string and eyes.

How to Measure for your Frame when using Mounts

1. Measure the image size of your print from top to bottom deduct 4mm this gives you the height of the aperture (A).
2. Measure the image size from left to right deduct 4mm to give you the width of the aperture (B).
3. At stage 1 of the frame builder enter measurements (A) as picture height and (B) as picture width.
4. At the choose mount stage of the frame builder, choose a front mount by entering mount border sizes required and select colour required.
5. Then choose a back mount if required, by specifying amount of colour C to be shown. The aperture size will automatically remain at the correct size for your print as measured in 1 above.

We can cut mounts with rectangular, round or oval apertures, plus mounts with offset corners which are only really suitable on larger pictures. We can also supply mounts without an aperture cut in it.
